    DEADLINE TO AUDITION

    February 1, 2027

    HOW DO I AUDITION?

Students need to audition with a piece chosen by Dr. Erb and sing as a soprano, alto, tenor, or bass. Visit this page later in the year, when registration opens, to locate the example piece.

Once the musical piece has been chosen and set forward, you will be expected to record a video of yourself singing your part. Please make sure your camera is pointing at you so we can see your face when making your video.

You will be expected to upload your video to YouTube. WHEN UPLOADING, MAKE SURE TO SAVE OR PUBLISH THE VIDEO AS “UNLISTED.” (Click here if you do not have a YouTube channel and need help setting one up.) Name your video: “HC 2026 – [your name] – [your voice part (soprano, alto, etc)]”. Example: “HC 2026 – Joe Smith – tenor”.

Honor choir members will be notified of the determination within one month of submitting their audition.

Those chosen for a place in the National Honor Choir will then be sent a link to fully register for the Honor Choir intensive preceding the performance.

Registration must be completed within two weeks of acceptance notification to secure your position within the choir.
