Amy Snell originally hails from Arkansas, followed by 33 years in California, before migrating to Moscow. She and her husband Aaron (est. 1997), have raised five children, Elijah, Jonah, Lydia, Jacob, and Leah, and have added a daughter-in-law.

Amy earned her B.S. in Child and Adolescent Studies from California State University, Fullerton, and her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Chapman University. Amy homeschooled their children for ten years, and taught both preschool and kindergarten at Logos School over the course of four years. She has been involved in music her whole life, having played flute, but primarily singing in a variety of settings, including in choir throughout college and beyond, church music, and rock. Amy directs our Conservatory programs, including Schola Cantorum, our community private music lessons, and serves as a guide to Certificate students, as well as administrating the everyday workings of the Conservatory.
