Rebecca Stenzel earned her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music in 2022, under the tutelage of Olga Dubossarskaya Kaler. She enjoys orchestral and chamber music playing, and was formerly a member of the Canton Symphony Orchestra, as well as numerous string quartets and piano trios. She has been a gold medalist at the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, the WDAV Chamber Music Competition, and silver medalist at the St. Paul String Quartet Competition. As a soloist, she was awarded the Jerome Gross Prize in Violin at the Cleveland Institute of Music, was invited to compete in the Ilona Feher International Violin Competition in Budapest, Hungary, and has performed with the Chicago Sinfonietta and the Knox-Galesburg Symphony. During the summer months, she has enjoyed playing as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral violinist at the Keshet Eilon Summer String Mastercourse, Sarasota Music Festival, Chautauqua Music Festival, Bowdoin Music Festival, and Interharmony Music Festival.
